We know that an

We found London and Tysoe on the map
and compared these two locations. We
found out lots of facts about the
capital city. We researched the places
we could visit in London and used lots of
the information in our class assembly.

We started doing our PE lessons
with Mr Jones. At the beginning of
term we did some gymnastics and
then the children had the chance to
practise basic balls skills such as

how to throw and catch a rugby ball
and also played football.

talk to when we need support.

PSHE
Maths: We are becoming more confident with our addition
and subtraction calculations. We investigated multiplication
and division using arrays and we were able to recognise the
relationship between these two calculations. We know that
multiplication is commutative and division is not.
History
We know that the Great Fire of London started in Pudding
Lane in 1666. We found how it started and what it meant to
the city of London. Samuel Pepys wrote a diary about what
happened during the fire and we found out about him and
wrote biographies. We learnt a song called September 1666
and performed it at our class assembly. Finding out about
The Great Fire of London was really interesting.
RE
We looked at how Christians pray to
say thank you. We made a class prayer
book using the prayers that we wrote.
We use our prayer book to say thank
you to God.
Our trip to Warwick Castle
The sun shone for our trip to
Warwick Castle and it was lots of fun.
We saw what it must have been like to
live in a castle and identified the
features of a castle.
