Are field rules clearly posted?
Is the field set up properly as dictated by the games’ common rules?
Is the field completely clear of trash or debris?
Are the anchors that hold down the equipment or goals
properly fastened?
Is there any exposed hardware, such as nails, screws, bolts, etc.?
Is protective padding in place and secure?
Are there any plants, trees, etc., that are encroaching onto the field?
Does the field have any holes, depressions, or trip hazards?
Are the teams familiar with the rules and field layout?
Is there any standing water?
If necessary, are the lights working, and are there no visual
impairments?
Are the bleachers secure with no holes, sharp edges, loose rails, etc.?
Have you visually inspected all equipment to be used in the game?
Is all maintenance equipment — sprinklers, lawn mowers, etc. —
put away?
Are there any unresolved items left from previous inspection?
If yes, notify management
immediately.
