Dear Talented, Creative, generous Parents and Carers and our own gourmet baking students, Northcote’s Fete is fast approaching and we have fewer than three weeks to go. Our cake stall is one of the attractions and we are hoping our Northcote families can contribute to the stall and make it an outstanding success again this year. We would love donations of whole cakes (big sellers last year) slices (also big sellers) Gluten free cakes & slices biscuits and all other baked goods To kick start our families into baking action, we will be sending home a plate and a leaflet that we hope you will attach to your baked goods that will let you list the ingredients and state what it is eg; banana cake. If you could also put your name and contact number on it that would be great. Don’t feel limited by the one plate – there are plenty of plates and leaflets available Yes, we are able to use nuts and chocolate or any other ingredients as long this is stated. If you are unable to assist the school for the cake stall then please return the packaging and we will reissue to parents who are able to help out. If you have grandparents or friends who enjoy cooking please encourage all to help in any way possible. We need volunteers on the stall, so please put your name down – it is very busy on the day so your help would be greatly appreciated. All cake stall items can be delivered on the day – just come and drop them off at the cake stall near the shelter shed next to the coffee cart. We will price items on the day. Thank you once again to all parents and carers who have been supportive in various ways so far. If you have any further questions regarding the cake stall contact Violeta (Marcus, Lucas and Gabriella’s mum: 0419117006).
