All pleadings should be filed at District Court – Civil/Criminal, 200 Lewis
Ave., Las Vegas, Nevada 89155. Last Will & Testaments should still be
lodged with the Clerk of the Court at Family Court 601 N. Pecos Road, Las
Vegas, Nevada 89101.

vveehhiiccllee vvaalluueess, you may use Kelley Blue Book or NADA, etc. FFoorr rreeaall
pprrooppeerrttyy vvaalluueess, on-line comparatives or values, i.e. Zillow, are allowed for
the initial petition. Alternatively, a sales comparative value analysis
prepared by a real estate professional will now be accepted as proof of
value. If these values and/or debts are not received in a timely manner,
your case will be continued one week to allow for receipt of these
documents.

Administration or in Full Administration you will need either an appraisal or
ex parte petition & ex parte order for verified record of value per NRS
144.020(4).***

For any petition requesting aattttoorrnneeyy ffeeeess iinn tthhee ssuum

attorney’s billing statement (hours & events) is required to be filed in the
court file. At the court’s discretion, an attorney’s billing statement (hours &
events) for any other sum may be requested for review. Those cases
requiring the filing of a billing statement will not be approved until such
time as a file stamped copy is provided to the Probate Office showing this
filing has been completed.
Petitions for approval of Attorney fees for cases which began after October
1, 2009, must also include a copy of the written fee agreement signed by
the client and attorney.
