Underlined Sentences – Name of activity followed by a short explanation of the activity.
(Italics) – Direct quote from Early Years Foundation Stage Development Matters. You can highlight this off once your child can do this regularly on your Child’s Progress Tracker 
(Red italics) – ADVANCED! Do not expect your child to be able to do this independently, however don’t’ be afraid to try “harder” activities as it all sets the stage for future
independence, learning & imaginative play.
Glossary:
1-1 correspondence: being able to match an object to a
corresponding number and understanding numbers are
a quantity of something. This is SO important because
many children can count, but don’t actually understand
the meaning or importance of the numbers.
Baa Baa Black Sheep Theme: 16-26 Months
Baa, baa, black sheep,
Have you any wool,
hold arms out
Yes sir, yes sir,
nod head
Three bags full,
hold up three fingers
One for the master,
put down one finger
And one for the dame,
put down one finger
And one for the little boy,
put down one finger
Who lives down the lane.
