Each year, Pet Community Center participates in a 5K to raise money
for local pets and community cats. Join us as we participate for the
first time in the Nashville Oktoberfest 5K Bier Run! Our umbrella
team name is called Team Spay It Forward and is made up of many
individual teams.
When and Where
Nashville Oktoberfest 5K Bier Run
Saturday October 7th, 8am
Begins and ends at Bicentennial Mall
We'd love for you to be a team captain and host a team! The 5K is casual, fun, and
costumes are encouraged! It's an opportunity to rally your friends, family, or coworkers
to help save pet lives and keep animals out of the shelter.
There will be friendly competition between teams, contests, and prizes!
Team captain basics:
Recruit team members and come up with a team name.
Help your teammates get registered for the race and the fundraising site.
Raise a minimum of $1000 per team (with a team of 5, that's just $200 each!)
Offer encouragement, team spirit, and help your team meet their goals!
Celebrate all the pets and community cats that are living happy and healthy lives
because of you.
