For the preliminary and first round matches the
Club on the top of the draw has home advantage.
For the second and subsequent rounds, up to the
semi-final, the Club whose number or letter appears
first will have home advantage.

The format shall be singles match play with five
matches played at home and five matches played
away. The result of the matches shall be determined
by the aggregate of matches won and each match
shall be played to a finish in each leg, until an overall
result has been determined.

The respective Team Captains (Managers) of the two
teams about to engage in a match shall interchange
simultaneously, thirty minutes before each match
commences, the names of the members of their
team which shall indicate the order of play, (see 9
above), official handicap and handicap for eligibility
and date of birth of each player.

Results of matches must be reported, by the winning
team, to the Leinster Golf office, preferably by e-mail,
not later than the first working day after the match
(each round) has been completed.

There will be no extensions granted. If a
match is not played by the closing date both clubs
will be scratched unless one of the clubs has received
a walk-over.
No caddies are permitted. Penalty for Breach - Loss
of Hole to a maximum of 2 holes. Any further
breach will lead to the disqualification of the player.

In the event of a tie after the second leg in each
round the final pairing that played in the second
leg shall as soon as practicable engage in sudden
death, commencing at the 19th hole, until a result
is achieved.
