Shoalhaven Heads Tourist Park Welcome to Shoalhaven Heads Tourist Park. To make everybody’s stay an enjoyable experience, we ask you to follow these simple guidelines… Check In & Out Smoking Check in time is 2pm; Check out time is strictly 10am. This applies to all cabins and sites. Smoking is not permitted in or around the amenities, laundry, camp kitchen or cabins. Smoking is also not permitted within 10 metres of children’s playground, swimming pool or other recreational areas (with a No Smoking emblem). Site fees are calculated until 10am on the day of departure. Extensions & late departures depend on availability. Fees apply. Office/Shop Hours Conditions of Occupancy Payment must be made on arrival for the total period of your stay. If new arrivals or visitors come, they must call at the park reception before entry to the park. When you leave, please ensure that your cabin/site is left clean and tidy. Cancellations/Refunds & Additional Fees and Charges Cancellation fee is one night on all accommodation during standard season. For all other cancellation fees & additional fees & charges please refer to our booking terms & conditions. Please book wisely – No refunds are given for early departures or bad weather. A cleaning fee of up to $200 will be charged if your cabin is left in an unsatisfactory condition. Peace & Quiet Our peaceful location and the serenity of our park add to the enjoyment of all our visitors. Please be considerate of others and restrict noise from radios, TV’s and social gatherings at all times, especially after 10pm. BBQ areas must be vacated by 10pm and left clean. NOISE NO NOISE AFTER 10pm Garbage & Recycling Please wrap or bag all garbage and place it in the bins provided. A recycling bin is provided for cans, glass, cardboard and P.E.T. Please teach children where rubbish goes and what can be recycled. Vehicles Your Site Please ensure that your car, trailer and other equipment are contained within your site or you will be asked to move. Once settled… Open 8:00am. No trenches to be dug on your site. Gas bottles must be under current certification. Connect only one lead to each power outlet. Double adaptors are not allowed. Caravans require a 15amp lead. No washing vehicles or boats. Washing facilities are available at boat ramps. Only ground sheets made of cloth or open weave material is permitted (No Tarps) Securing Your Site We do our best to ensure a safe and secure environment, including providing security guards during busy times. We recommend that you secure all valuables day and night, including bikes, eskies and clothes hanging on the lines or draped over your veranda. We do not accept responsibility for damage to any vehicles, vans or the contents thereof. Bikes & Scooters Guests are welcome to ride bikes during daylight hours but once the park lights come on, riding must stop. Approved safety helmets must be worn by all riders as required by law. Safety is very important to us. Many children are in the park, so please drive at walking speed only. The speed limit is strictly 8km/h & pedestrians have ‘right-of-way’. We only allow one vehicle per site so please ask your visitors to park their vehicles outside. Boom Gates Boom gates are provided for your security. Please do not give your P.I.N. number to anybody under any circumstance – even if you think you are helping, as boom gate numbers are issued for one vehicle only. Do not tail gate through the boom gate, if you tailgate in you will be unable to exit the park. Children Parents are responsible for their children’s behaviour in the park. Children under 8 years must be accompanied by an adult to the amenities. They are also prohibited from using the playground equipment from 8pm - 8am. We ask that children do not play or ride around the amenities block or laundry areas. There is strictly no riding around the boom gates. Campsite Cooking & Dish Washing A basin for washing dishes is provided at each amenities block. Please do not wash dishes or cook in the laundries. Persons causing damage of any type to natural or built assets of the park will be evicted and prosecuted. Thank you for your co-operation
