Campaign. Vikings community

stand against domestic violence”
David Bartlett was invited on behalf of White Ribbon
to attend a reception at No.10 Downing to celebrate
International Women’s Day on the 8th March.
David even had a word with Prime Minister David
Cameron and discussed how important it was for
prominent men in public life to take a stand against
male violence against women.

strategy meeting in Valencia in
Spain for the EU-funded HASP
Project (Honour Ambassadors
Against Shame Practices). White
Ribbon is one of two UK partners in
this new two-year project to
increase awareness and reduce
incidence of Honour Related
Violence (HRV) against women
(from forced marriage to so-called
“honour crimes”). The project has a
focus on engaging with men, and will result in an EU-wide network of Honour
Ambassadors to challenge HRV against women.
