Playground
Many of you will have noticed that our playground surface is starting to break up in certain areas. We are hoping to have
the whole of the playground resurfaced over the Summer holiday and some lovely new playground markings painted on the
new surface for our children.
Outdoor Learning/play area
Our new outdoor learning/ play area outside classes 6 and 7 is now installed and the children are really enjoying using the
new play/learning equipment.
Parking
As you will know the local police are going to make ‘spot checks’ regarding parking around the School area at
busy times. Whilst the vast majority of our parents and carers are considerate parkers, we still have complaints
from local residents about careless and dangerous parking.
Adventure Play Equipment
Please ensure that children do not play on the adventure play equipment either first thing in the morning or when children
are being picked up at the end of the day. Children using this MUST be supervised by school staff only. Many thanks for
your co-operation with this matter.
Lollipop Lady
We are very fortunate to continue to have the supervision of Mrs Gaul who is our lollipop lady at the start and
end of the day. She does a fantastic job making sure our children cross the road safely each day. Please ensure
you cross with her and not further up the road due to potential accidents occurring. Thank you.
Milk Money
If you would like your child to have milk next half term (period covered Monday 13 th June to Friday 22nd July)
please send £5.80 (cash only) to the office in a sealed envelope on the 6 th, 7th or 8th of June. Thank you.
Phone calls
We are now only able to receive calls on 427012 (and not on our fax line any more). If you need to phone school,
please check that you dialling the correct number. Thank you.
