AMEND TO READ
Add a zero week to the high school football calendar which would be Week 8 of
the AAA calendar.
PURPOSE
 Provide schools the opportunity to schedule three (3) non-conference
games over a four-week period.
 Give Arkansas schools more flexibility in scheduling out-of-state games
 If your school plays a zero week game, then your benefit game is moved to
Week 7 of the AAA calendar.
 If you do not play a zero week game, your benefit game week will be Week
8 of the AAA calendar.
(Junior high regular season and benefit games start dates will not change)

PURPOSE
To allow soccer to be more in line with the way other sports are allowed flexibility
with their season. It will allow schools in 9-team blended conferences the
opportunity to play two non-conference games

Combined classification districts have the option of playing single or double round
robins in softball and baseball in districts that have nine (9) or more teams.
PURPOSE
 Large conferences will struggle to get games in due to weather
cancellations.
 Limited pitchers available for baseball and inability to play junior varsity
games on the same day as varsity games.
 Limits number of athletes getting to participate.
