MONDAY 3rd SEPTEMBER
Basketball - Highest number of free throws scored in 30 seconds
Winners will be judged on individual student scoring the highest number, also considered is total number of
free throws scored by all students participating, total number of students participating and total number of
students in school.
TUESDAY 4th SEPTEMBER
Planks - Best time for a “plank” or bridge
Winner judged on individual student scoring the longest time, also considered is total cumulative time from
all students participating, total number of students participating and total number of students in school.
WEDNESDAY 5TH SEPTEMBER
- adidas Run around the World or Longest Vortex Throw
Winner judged on average distance run by students participating, also considered is total number of
students participating and total number of student in school/grade
OR Longest Vortex Throw
Winner judged on individual students scoring the longest distance, also considered is total cumulative
distance from all students participating, total number of students participating and total number of
students in school.
THURSDAY 6th SEPTEMBER
Dance Off- Most students dancing the Nutbush or Macarena
Winner is judged on the number of students participating as a percentage of the school body.
FRIDAY 7th SEPTEMBER
Ball Games - Most students participating in ball games
Winner is judged on the number of students participating as a percentage of the school body.
Please note: daily winners will be judged on performance scores and taking into account participation
numbers and the size of the school. There will also be an overall winner judged not only on their daily
scores but also on overall school participation, involvement and promotion of healthy and active lifestyles
throughout HPE Week.
The overall winner can stake their claim on the title of ACHPER QLD HPE Head to Head Master and a
fabulous prize. Some of our prize sponsors are Footsteps Dance Company, Jump Rope for Heart, RHSports,
Tennis Queensland and SnowScene.
