LEVEL TWO ECONOMICS COURSE OUTLINE 2017
AIMS OF THE COURSE:
 To enable students to attain a level of economic literacy and understanding, which will allow them to develop a continuing interest
in contemporary economic issues relevant to the New Zealand economy and its place in the global economy.
 To prepare students’ for Level 3 Economics Achievement Standards.
OBJECTIVES:
 To develop students’ understanding of macro-economic models and how these can be applied to contemporary economic issues
relevant to New Zealand society including consumers, producers and the government.
