Caution Card Offence Codes
As per the current GNEFA GDT, the following Caution Card Offence Codes replace
the codes shown on the reverse of the existing GNEFA Match Record sheets.
YELLOW CARD CODES
Y1
Y2
Y3
Y4
Y5
Y6
Y7
is guilty of unsporting behavior.
shows dissent by word or action.
persistently infringes the Laws of the Game.
delays the restart of play.
fails to respect the required distance when play is restarted with a corner kick, free kick or throw-in.
enters or re-enters the field of play without the Match Officials permission.
deliberately leaves the field of play without the Match Officials permission.
RED CARD CODES

is guilty of serious foul play.
is guilty of violent conduct.
spits at an opponent or any other person.
denies an obvious goal scoring opportunity to an opponent.
uses offensive or insulting or abusive language and/or gestures.
receives a second caution in the same Match / indirect red card.
other misconduct.

Y1 is guilty of unsporting behaviour.

Y3 persistently infringes the Laws of the Game.
Y4 delays the restart of play.

Y6 enters or re-enters the field of play without the Match Official’s permission.
Y7 deliberately leaves the field of play without the Match Official’s permission.
Y8 minor breach of the Laws of the Game or other Misconduct not defined above.
