by A. Hernandez (21-0-0)
Underwood moves to reconvene the orders of the day, Seconded by Padilla (21-0-0)
Underwood read Resolution V: Meeting Attendance. The Resolution states that if an ASG member accumulates
more than two absences, whether they be excused or not, they will automatically be put up for impeachment.
Nawabi agrees with the Resolution’s goal, but disagrees with the choice that after two absences people will be
put up for impeachment. Nawabi thinks that the number of allowed absences should be more than two. Hatch
agrees the number of absences should be increased. Padilla suggests that excused absences should be allowed.
Carter suggests members should be able to miss 10% of the meetings. Gaughan makes the point that members
of ASG have had absences due to unavoidable reasons, and doesn’t believe implementing this Resolution is a
good solution to the problem of absences in ASG. Several members of ASG commented that they would be
forced to resign if this Resolution passed as it is.
7.04 Judicial Training Reimbursement – Nathan Underwood (Discussion/ Action)
Underwood is looking to allocate up to $78 to purchase lunch for those who attended the Loretta Jordan
meeting. Spence moves to approve up to $78 to purchase food from Account 6680 General Supplies, Seconded
