Average Point Score analysis 2012-2013







The charts below show the progress made from the end of the last academic year up
to the current date in Years 7-11. They cover English, Maths and Science.
The charts compare the outcomes for Ever6 (PPG eligible) students against those of
the whole cohort.
The outcomes are measured as APS (Average Point Scores).
IN KS3 the calculation is arrived at by multiplying the level by 6, then adding 3.
Therefore, a Level 3 grade = 3 x 6 + 3 = 21, a level 4 grade equates to 27, a level 5
grade to 33, and so on.
An increase of 2 therefore equates to moving one sub-level. (for example, 5c to 5b)
At KS4 each grade has a numerical equivalent as follows:
A*=58, A=52, B=46, C=40, D=34 ,E=28
