27th edition of the International Pinkstertoernooi
It has been a tradition since 1990: in the weekend of Pentacost baseball and softball youth
teams from many countries in Europe come to HCAW for this fantastic tournament. Each
year we welcome a large number of old friends and we meet new ones. This year we expect
36 teams from four different countries.
What to expect during the tournament? First of all a fantastic tournament with many
interesting and exciting baseball and softball games. At the end of the two-day program we
will honour the champions.
Next to this you can expect the company of many baseball and softball fans, there will a
raffle, there will be food and beverages and a baseball shop with attractive offers.
And on Sunday evening there will be a barbecue during a baseball game of HCAW’s 1st team.
Like every year, the organizing committee is supported by a large group of volunteers to
assist in the various jobs on the field, in the tournament office, in the canteen, at the food
stalls, with the first aid etc. Many thanks to all of you!
And of course we are very thankful for the support we get from our sponsors; their
contribution to our tournament is very much appreciated indeed.
And last but not least: thanks to the umpires for leading all the games during the
tournament!

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
SATURDAY
All international teams are expected to arrive at the HCAW Baseball and Softball Valley on Saturday
May 14th. Please email your planned time of arrival, so we know when to expect you.
Upon arrival the players that will stay with a guest family will meet their family, who will take them
home for dinner at their home.
Players and coaches who sleep in the practice hall, will stay at the HCAW Baseball and Softball Valley.
They will be served a light meal in the canteen between 18:00 and 19:00 hours (no charge). Vouchers
for this meal will be supplied upon arrival.
Coach meeting
At 17:30 hours a coach meeting will be held. coaches and umpires are invited to attend this meeting
for a briefing.
SUNDAY
The tournament will be opened on Sunday morning at 09:00 hours and the first games will begin
after the opening ceremony. Throughout the day there are various stalls to visit. For example a
hotdog stand, a lottery stand and the HCAW baseball & softball shop.
After the games it is possible to enjoy a BBQ meal. During the meal you can watch a baseball game of
HCAW’s 1st team at the main field. Costs for the BBQ are € 10,00 per person, reservation is required.
A limited amount of tickets will be available on Sunday for € 12,50 p/p.
MONDAY
This is the last day of the tournament. Activities will be similar to first day. The game schedule will be
available Sunday evening at the tournament office and the website.
Award ceremony is expected to begin around 17:30 hours, after the last game is played. All teams
are expected to depart after the ceremony.

Vouchers
Vouchers are available for the Saturday light meal and Sunday BBQ (if reserved). The Saturday
vouchers are free of charge for guests staying in the practice hall/AW.
Parking:
Parking is permitted in designated parking spots only. Please note that the police will ticket any
illegally parked cars. All parking (also in legal spots!) is at the car owner's risk (beware of foul balls!).
More parking facilities are available just beyond the entrance at the right.
Please keep clear the special parking spots designated for disabled drivers. Parking here without a
special permit is illegal.
