Isolate the unit from electrical supply
before removing any panels
Each unit is supplied with
the maximum heater KW
configuration i.e.
18KW
24KW
27KW
36KW
54KW (and above)
The heater element
outputs can be reduced
to:
12KW and 6KW
18KW, 12KW and 6KW
18KW and 9KW
27KW, 18KW and 9KW
36KW, 27KW, 18KW and 9KW

Method
This work should only be undertaken by a suitably
qualified person.
Release the four bolts retaining the heater section side
cover and remove the side completely to expose the control
and heater element terminals.
Determine the number of heater elements required. Elements
can be either 2Kw or 3Kw depending on unit purchased and
can be identified by use of the table above and simple
calculation and viewing the unit. Further advice on your
units element rating can be obtained from Nuaire technical
support.

Remove the phase supply strap of each phase and cut
(or remove) according to the reduction required
Ensure that phase balance is maintained by
removing an equal number of elements from
each phase
Ensure that phase line wires are re-connected to the
correct terminals
Reinstate in reverse order
