ELECTROLYSIS follows a course outline that
leads to a fully qualified professional diploma.
These course structures provide the critical
balance of technical knowledge and practical
experience which ensures that all our
graduates have absolute confidence in their
ability to provide the very best treatments to
their clients.
Prerequisites for all courses
All students must be at least 17 years of age
and have successfully completed Grade 12 in a
Canadian high school or the equivalent.
Applications from mature students (19 years or
over) will be considered. All students must
provide a written character reference and a
certificate from a practicing physician stating
that
the
student
is
free
from
any
communicable diseases.
Accommodation
Arrangements can be made for out-of-town
students at local motels or within the school
premise.
Personal Interview
To help the prospective student make a final
decision before enrolling in our electrolysis
course, we arrange a personal interview. This
interview
will
allow
the
students
the
opportunity to go over the course curriculum
and have any questions answered.
Regulations for the Electrolysis course
The regulations concerning electrolysis vary
widely, so please check the regulations for
your area before committing yourself to this
electrolysis course.
Class Size
Our guarantee of small classes (minimum 2
and
maximum
6)
ensures
individual
instructions for each student.
Practical Experience
The students are expected to work on
themselves and each other, as well as on the
instructor. No one will be exempt from taking
treatment from any student. Pre-sterilized
disposable needles are provided for each
student to ensure the safest environment for
learning.
Attendance
Students are expected to attend every class
and missed time (including lateness) may be
made up before graduation. In the event of
more than 3 days absence, the student may
make arrangements to attend a future session
at the director’s discretion.
Dress Code
The students are expected to wear a white lab
coat over street clothes to every class.
Follow-up Assessment for the electrolysis
course
on computerized machines. Throughout the
course, special attention is given to proper
hygiene, sterilization and disinfection.

Electrocoagulation – Certificate course
A safe, non-invasive procedure that is both
effective and permanent. You will be able to
treat skin tags, broken capillaries, ruby points,
blotches and more. Provides a wonderful
opportunity to broaden the services for those
practicing electrologists or estheticians.
A follow-up assessment 3 months after
graduation may be arranged at no cost,
another example of our striving for the highest
level of excellence.

Our Goal
Microdermabrasion–Certificate course
Our
goal
is
to
graduate
professional
electrologists and technicians with the highest
level of knowledge and practical experience in
the field of electrolysis, electrocoagulation,
microdermabrasion and waxing.
Microdermabrasion is a non-surgical procedure
which gently resurfaces the skin.
This
exfoliation is performed with medical grade
mineral crystals or diamond tip which brushes
the skin’s surface creating a gentle vacuum.
This action removes dead and damaged cells at
the skin’s surface cells, the skin is left soft and
supple while forcing the regeneration of new
skin cells. You will be able to treat: superficial
scars, hyperpigmentation, fine lines, sundamaged skin, blemishes, dull and congested
skin, uneven skin tones and textural damaged
skin, comedones and enlarged pores.

Covers the theoretical and practical application
of this only, safe, medically approved method
of permanently removing hair.
During the
theory component you will study the anatomy
of skin and hair; hair growth cycle; apparent
and actual regrowth; disease and disorders of
the endocrine system; sterilization etc… To
perfect your technique, you will train during
each practical class on all areas of the face and
body in the application of thermolysis, galvanic
electrolysis and the blend using both
computerized and manual machines with focus

Waxing - Certificate Course
This fast and efficient temporary hair removal
by waxing is an extremely popular and
lucrative service. This course teaches theory
and practical application of two types of both
hard and soft wax. You will study the structure
of the skin and hair, hair growth and growth
cycle. Safety precautions, sterilization and
sanitation are reinforced throughout the
course.
