Personal Action Plan
As you work through the book and begin to develop goals and actions to live more
justly, it is helpful to write down your plan for action. Changing habits and creating
new ones are often difficult, so this chart is to serve as a helpful tool to keep you on
track and inspired. Below are sections in accordance with each practical session in
the book: advocacy, prayer, consumption, generosity, relationships, and creation
care. Once you have completed each session in the book, you can use the space
provided in the chart to establish goals for your actions that will address each facet
of life you have been inspired to live justly in. There is a place to write down specific
actions as well as time commitments, and then additional room to log details of how
you will carry out the action and track progress. Our hope and prayer is that this
action plan will not just simply function as a “to-do” list, but that it will be a
transformative resource as you pursue a more just lifestyle.
Download the last page of this document to create your own personal action guide.
Fill it out and upload it to www.livejust.ly/action-plan to help us keep you
accountable! Here are some examples of goals addressing each session found in the
book:

addresses the issues of poverty
and donate 10% of your money
and/or time to them

bike (or walking) to work
Notes:
(i.e. look up the best routes to work)
Once a month for
one year
Meet once a week

are in your area
Once a week for the
first month, increase
days after each
month
These are just a few examples of many goals that you can create. Our hope is that
your action plan will be developed through prayer,
intentionality, and guidance from the Holy Spirit. While it
might be best to keep a minimum of one goal for each session
so that you don’t feel overwhelmed, feel free to establish more
than one if you would like.
