Overview of account transactions to be expected
Balance forecast
The balance forecast in UBS e-banking shows you
account transactions that will be carried out in the
future as well as account balances. In this way you
receive support in cash flow management and can
plan any measures in good time.
The balance forecast offers you a rapid overview of the
expected cash flows in the next 200 days – either for an
individual account or consolidated for all accounts belonging to an e-banking contract, a client group, banking relationship, portfolio or credit limit.
 The filter criteria are displayed in the left-hand navigation column. Define the required grouping here
(based on value date or deal type) and the time period for the forecast. The maximum period is 200
days. If required you can also, for example, limit the
account transactions based on transaction type, asset
class or deal type. It is also possible to exclude individual accounts. Change the filter criteria based on
.
your requirements and then click
 The graphic illustrates the development of the valuedate balance during the selected time period.
It takes into account:
• Payment transactions 1
• Investments due to mature according to the maturity
overview (of investments in securities, time deposit or
medium-term notes)
• Interest payments for fixed-rate mortgages and amortizations, capital payments and redemptions of Libor
and fixed-rate mortgages
• Foreign exchange and precious metals transactions
(spots, swaps and forwards)
• All cash flows from liabilities (including capital maturity and amortization)
Payment orders and standing orders entered are automatically taken into account. You can conveniently enter
irregular incoming funds and payments as planning data. Credits and debits in foreign currencies are displayed
in the account currency.
Call
You can find the balance forecast in UBS e-banking at
Assets > Balance Forecast.
 If you move over a point on the value-date balance
curve with the mouse, information on the respective
value-date balance will be displayed.
 The balance forecast also shows the expected cash
flows and probable value-date balance based on the
filter criteria. The single postings of a group can be
displayed by clicking on , all single postings can be
opened by clicking . The detailed view of a single
posting can be opened by clicking .
 You can export the preview as an Excel or PDF file, if
required.





 Select the e-banking contract, client group, banking
relationship, portfolio, account or credit limit for the
balance forecast.
 Determine the currency in which the balance forecast
is to be displayed.

Credits from account transfers entered are only visible if the credit
account and the debit account belong to the same UBS e-banking
agreement.


Important notes
• Of course, all functions in the balance forecast are
for simulation purposes only.
• Planning data are not entered as payments and
modifications to planning data do not affect existing payment orders.
Planning data
Incoming funds and debits not automatically taken into
account can be entered as planning data.
You can find the planning data in UBS e-banking at
Assets > Balance Forecast > Planning Data. To enter a
planned booking, click on "New entry".
You can view, edit, deactivate or delete planning data
that has been entered at any time. To do so, click on the
respective icon in the list.
