Northern Gold Coast Coordinated Social Infrastructure Strategy 2011 – 2021

1. The Northern Gold Coast Coordinated Social Infrastructure Strategy 2011 - 2021 provides a
framework for coordinating planning and delivery of social infrastructure across Government
for the fast growing population in the northern Gold Coast corridor.
2. It is a joint project between the Department of Local Government and Planning and the Gold
Coast City Council.
3. The project area extends from the northern boundary of the Gold Coast City Council Local
Government area to Southport and Nerang.
4. Cabinet endorsed the Northern Gold Coast Coordinated Social Infrastructure Strategy
2011 - 2021.
