Delisle Minor Hockey Players
Conduct Agreement 2016-2017 Season
DMHA appreciates the dedication of our members, and the people who volunteer
for the sake of our children. As a membership, it is our responsibility to work
together to provide a safe and fun environment for all youth and volunteers to be
a part of. This Agreement is intended to help players understand their role in
enriching their own hockey experience.
Player Conduct:














I will play for the “fun of it”, not just for my parent or coach.
I will play by the rules.
If I am not a Captain or Assistant Captain, I will not argue an official’s decision.
I will control my temper by not mouthing off, throwing or breaking my equipment, or
throwing a temper tantrum during a team event.
I will work equally hard for myself and my team.
I will do my best to attend all practices, games and team functions.
I will be a good sport, by cheering positive and showing some class
I will treat all players as I would like to be treated.
I will do my best to have fun, improve my skills.
I will respect my coaches, team mates, officials, opponents and parents.
I will not use alcohol or illegal drugs, or tobacco products.
I will not bully or abuse my team mates.
I will shake hands with all of the opposing team including coaches at the end of every game.
I will abide by the DMHA, SHA and Hockey Canada Social Media Policy.
I understand that Delisle Minor Hockey will apply restrictions of privilege if I do
not adhere to the Player’s Conduct Agreement, Delisle Minor Hockey Rules &
Regulations, SHA and Hockey Canada Rules. These restrictions may include
reduced playing privileges up to and including player suspension based on
frequency and severity of incidents.
