Final Round Autumn Sunday Cup The Championship title for both classes was to be decided on Sunday as a strong grid of drivers took part in the final round of the Autumn Cup. The tricky track conditions were perfectly displayed in the first heat when two different leaders spun in the first two laps, proving the track was more slipperly than it looked. James Tomsett showed why he was top in the championship with an excellent win. Alex Brazier, making his first appearance in the series was a comfortable second, and Joe Hunt, who has won the previous two rounds, was third. Lloyd Santer was fourth and James Barnard came in fifth. The second race was dominated by James Barnard, who from early on in the race gained a clear lead. Joe Hunt pursued Barnard for most of the race but was unable to catch him. Disaster struck for Tomsett as he got himself stuck in the tyres, meaning he finished 10th, leaving the lightweight championship wide open. Alex Brazier continued his consistent day, finishing third and Luke Skilton, competing in his first round on the Sunday Cup, was fourth. The results were put together and it was shown that Luke Skilton has won the Heavyweight class, with James Fermer second and Simon Edwards third. Alex Brazier's consistency was rewarded with a first place trophy in the lightweight class, James Barnard was a deserved second place and Joe Hunt came in third. Tomsett managed to just about hang on and win the lightweight Championship by just 3 points, while Simon Edwards good run of results meant he was heavyweight Championship winner.
