1. In relation to the transmission of my program I agree to:
a. Be at the premises, ready to present my program a minimum of 10 minutes
before broadcast time.
b. I will facilitate a smooth change over at the end of my shift and vacate the chair
immediately my final track is put to air, and I will complete my program on time.
c. I will advise the Program Manager or assistant should I be unavailable to cover
my rostered broadcast.
d. I will update my knowledge as a presenter by attending refresher training
courses offered from time to time.
e. I agree to notify the technical manager of technical faults immediately, this
includes interruptions of power.
f. I will undertake to respect the rights of volunteers, Management, and guests to
hold their own opinions and I will not vilify them for having a different view and
tastes of my own.
2. There will be no on-air or off-air denigration of 4FCR FM volunteers, management or
programs made by any presenter, or negative comments re other operational matters
including operational equipment.
3. Consumption of food and liquids are not permitted in the studio.
4. I acknowledge that material broadcast on 4FCR is the property of the station, and that
such material may only be sold or broadcast to other outlets with the permission of the
Executive. I accept that FCCR retains the ownership and copyright of all works that it
specifically commissions, eg. Station and Sponsorship
Announcements. As a volunteer, I retain the copyright of all works I create for broadcast.
5. I accept that FCCR will take every care with recorded material left by me at the station
but cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage.
6. I will not, without prior approval of the Executive comment publicly in any form on the
operation of FCCR or on any other Volunteer.
7. I will follow instructions re care of studio and other facilities. I will use station
equipment and facilities only for the production and preparation of my program and not
for any other purpose except with the express permission of the Executive.
8. I will not remove station equipment or property without the express permission of the
Executive.
9. I agree that FCCR's grievance procedures as the appropriate avenue for conflict
resolution.
10. I agree that a breach of the above listed conditions will result in the suspension of my
broadcasting rights, or in some cases termination of my broadcast privileges or
membership of the Association.

While the Programming Committee will take your preferences into consideration and will
endeavour to accommodate you, it cannot guarantee that you will be given any of the
nominated time slots.
Even if you are applying to renew a timeslot, we still need to know what other timeslots you
are available for in case your first preference is unavailable.

Please state which other voluntary community radio tasks you will be undertaking during the 6 month cycle. You
may indicate as many as you like, however, you must nominate at least one. Community radio involves more than
just presenting on-air and it is therefore, essential that everyone accepts their responsibility to participate in the
overall operation of the station. For example, you could commit to working at 3 sausage sizzles during the 6 month
cycle. Your past, present and proposed future participation will form part of the assessment of your program
proposal/renewal application.

All programs must conform to community radio Codes of Practice, ACMA requirements and FCCR
policies. If in doubt, please contact a member of the Programming Committee or look up the
relevant policy on the station’s website.

from the Program Director to modify it.
