Pre-selection for the audition: fully completed application forms must be returned before March 6th 2016
with the requested documents. Incomplete applications will be automatically rejected.

(Successful candidates can join our schools only if their application will be approved by our
Academic Studies Committee)
 A full-length photo (format: 9 x 13 cm min – 13 x 18 cm max):
GIRLS: facing the camera, wearing a leotard, tights, demi-pointes, no skirt.
BOYS: facing the camera, in fitted shorts and fitted t-shirt.
 A photo in a dancing position (one of each):
- Standing facing the side: in 1st Arabesque
- Front photo: plié in 1st, développé in 2nd , arms in 2nd , relevé sur pointes in 1st position
Girls dress code: sleeveless leotard, pink tights, demi-pointes or pointes, hair in a ballet bun
Boys dress code: fitted t-shirt, black tights, demi-pointes
*Nota Bene:
 For applicants who will attend a workshop at ESDCM or ENSDM preparing to the audition, audition fees
are included in the workshop fees.
 Your application must pass a pre-selection.
Candidates whose application has been pre-selected will receive a convocation to the audition,
and will be asked to provide complementary payment of audition fees (20 € + 20 € = 40 €).
 Thanks to the partnership of ESDCM Rosella Hightower and ENSDM that are merging in the Pôle
National Supérieur de Danse en Provence Méditerranée, applicants for both schools will audition just
once (you can choose to audition either in Cannes-Mougins or in Marseille).

AUDITION PROCESS
Your application must pass a pre-selection.
Pre-selected applicants will receive a convocation to the audition; they will be asked to provide more
documents and to do the second 20 € payment.
 To join the school years 1ère (born in 2000), Terminale (born in 1999) and for post-
diploma students (born in 1998 and older):
Audition consists of two classes, two variations and an interview about your training project.
We will make a selection after each step.
1st step
pre-selection of applications
2nd step
- 1 ballet class for girls and boys (approx. 1h 30min)
- 1 contemporary class for girls and boys (approx 1h)
3rd step
- Presentation of one repertoire variation (ballet or contemporary – candidates can choose)
- Presentation of a personal variation (1 min 30 sec minimum – 2 minutes maximum; with or
without music)
Each candidate must bring the music for her/his personal variation on a USB support.
 Results :
Results will the given right after the audition.
Admissions are subject to the approval of the whole application, including the academic
education part, which must be approved by the Academic Studies Committee.
