RIYA Takes on InVest
UPCOMING EVENTS
One of our goals for 2016 is to promote and help raise funds for
the Invest Program. Invest is a school to work insurance program
that exposes high school and college students to the option of
insurance as a career. Through the use of insurance curriculum
for students and teachers to InVest liaisons (insurance
professionals) students are able to learn, shadow, and intern in
the insurance field. The hope that more of the next generation of
workforce will find their way into an insurance based career path
and simply have more information on how insurance and the
insurance industry works. During our kick off event at IIARI head
quarters in February we raised $500 for the Invest Program. The
raffle for a Chrome Book was won by Mark Male, IIARI Executive
Vice President, who donated his prize to the InVest program as
well. If you would like to learn more about Invest or get involved
please contact us!
