Pictures, transmitted over telephone lines

In 1924 pictures are transmitted/ passing to. Over phone lines! And
if no one would have thought of that, we wouldn't be able to fax, or
send pictures to our friend over the phone!!! Could you imagine
that?? In 1918 H. Nyquist began investigating ways to adapt
telephone circuits for picture transmission. And in 1924, he faxed the
pictures from Manhattan to Cleveland

In 900 B.C. the Chinese
developed the postal system
to deliver written messages.
Kind of like mail that comes
to your house or e-mail,
except this was 900 years
before Christ was born. So
they didn't have computers
or fed ex.

