Directions to the Child Health Facility
PLEASE ALLOW EXTRA TIME DUE TO ROADWORKS IN BRIDGWATER
From Junction 24- Coming from Taunton
Heading into Bridgwater, follow the road towards the town centre, on entering the
town take the second exit on the roundabout, onto Taunton Road. After
approximately ½ mile, turn left opposite the shops, onto Ashleigh Avenue. At the end
of Ashleigh Avenue turn right onto Hamp Avenue, and Robert Blake and Elmwood
Schools are located on the left.
From Junction 23, Bristol Road- Coming from Glastonbury/ Street/Wells etc.
Enter the dual carriageway heading into Bridgwater, take the first exit on the
roundabout heading into town, when reaching Canon Roundabout, near Sainsbury’s,
take the third exit, and continue straight ahead at the next set of traffic lights. After
crossing the bridge, turn left after the Esso Garage, onto Taunton Road. Turn right
opposite the shops, onto Ashleigh Avenue. When you reach the end of Ashleigh
Avenue, turn right and Robert Blake and Elmwood Schools are located on the left.
From the A39- Coming from Minehead
Follow the road into town, take the third exit on the roundabout as you enter into
Bridgwater, follow the road towards the town centre, go straight ahead at the mini
roundabout and straight ahead at the traffic lights. Pass Morrison’s on your right
hand side and keep to the right hand lane to turn right onto Taunton Road. Turn right
opposite the shops, onto Ashleigh Avenue. When you reach the end of Ashleigh
Avenue, turn right onto Hamp Avenue, and Robert Blake and Elmwood Schools are
located on the left.
On arrival:
Pedestrians: Turn immediately right as you enter the green gates and follow the path
around to the main school entrance
Drivers: Drive through the green gates and straight ahead. Follow the road round to
the right and park by the NHS signs on the right. Follow signs to the main school
entrance. You are welcome to park in the NHS parking bays if necessary.
Enter through the sliding doors and turn immediately right. The Child Health Facility
is the first door on the right.
