What STORMO is
®
STORMO® rEVOLUTION is a process based on individuals cooperation that allows
the group’s collective intelligence to emerge, the same used in nature by flock
of birds to organise their flight.
It is a workshop that develops self and mutual consciousness through simple
exercises and games that lead to a condition of deep listening and harmony.
Shortly, thanks to these activities, the awareness about one’s own condition as
well as about other human beings or the surrounding environment increases:
participants move gracefully with a constant change of leadership within the
group.

STORMO® and Science
STORMO® has been studied by researchers and
famous professors during a scientific session
at the Leonardo da Vinci Museum of Science
and Technology in Milan.
They have identified an emergent behavior
with which the group can organise at best,
following structures used in nature to
improve answers to extreme stress, to find
solutions and to catch opportunities.

The project
Thanks to our artistic experience, we’ve been able to develop an alternative proposal for
team building activities, far from superficial emotional experiences. Our strength resides in
simplicity, that’s why we are able to engage and offer a real and deep harmony experience.
We realized dozens of sessions in different countries, working with more than 650 people.
STORMO® rEVOLUTION is a flexible and versatile project always based on participants.

How it works
STORMO® rEVOLUTION is a workshop within the reach of everyone, made by 3 elements:
• Games (based on rhythm or reactions, simple street games) are used to create a relaxed and
cooperative mood in a nice and funny way;
• Listening and attention: this kind of activities aims to develop attention towards other people, their
position in the space and the group as a whole:
• The flight: starting from some exercises in couple participants learn how to lead each other (one
leads and the other follows). This simple principle is then extended to more people and to the whole
group, allowing to create a STORMO®, fascinating emotional experience.

Goals
STORMO® rEVOLUTION is a unique experience:
• it develops harmony within the group in a clearly perceptible way;
• it generates a physical status of active listening, more effective than any other
theoretical explanation;
• it shows how to transform uncertainty, turning it into a resource;
• it creates a shared leadership, developing cooperation and empowerment;
• it allows to perceive the group as a single body, awakening its consciousness;
• it provides the possibility to perceive freedom inside a structure;
• it brings a new version of those contexts where behaviors or habits seem fixed and
unchangeable.

What we need for STORMO
®
For the workshop:
• minimum 12 participants, up to 70
• from half a day to three session of 4 hours, depending on the client’s needs
• large and empty space suitable for the group
• a good sound system
It is possible to end the workshop with a performance (optional), to realize it we need:
• a good sound system

The Company
Effetto Larsen was founded in 2007 in Milan: from the very beginning we focused on
performing arts. Born as theatre company, we’ve always considered human relations as the
pivot of our work.
During the years we have developed an original path of research that brought us far from
the theatre, intended both as building and as tradition. We constantly expand our always
evolving offer: we glean from our background to realise effective and innovative projects,
always tailored on our partners.

12 years, as well as Strategic Counseling (STC Change Strategies).
