*Exchange students are not required to pay tuition or student fees. These costs are paid to their home University. For a student to
attend as an exchange student, a current agreement must be on file with the University of Hartford’s International Center. To learn if
your University has a current agreement, please contact Ms . Nicole Kurker-Stewart , Director, International Center:

Individual budgets will vary from student to student depending upon the selection of room accommodations, board plans and
personal needs. The above budget has been developed in an effort to break down what your direct cost to the University will be. Any
amounts listed in tuition, fees, room and board will require direct payment to the University. The room and meals charges are based
on two students to a room and A 7 Day All Access Freshman meal plan. The cost of these two items could increase or decrease
depending on your final selection.
Direct costs are charges which are assessed and billed by the Bursar’ s Of f ice based on a student's enrollment and housing status.
Indirect costs are ESTIMATES but need to be budgeted into a student’s annual cost of attendance.

sponsor/parent has funds equal to the amount stated with the cost of attendance budget for your year of attendance. If you will attend the university with the
financial support of your government or company an official letter detailing your scholarship is also required.
