Strengths-What really works
•
Using popular media and social media routes
•
Content developed from National SRH curriculum
•
Enable users to anonymously ask SRH questions and learn from content
•
Privacy and confidentiality maintained
•
Collection of data to assess knowledge
•
Some work offline as well as online
•
Working with young people for the creation of content creates ownership and ensure appropriate
content
•
Diverse content and real life scenarios makes it real to enhance engagement
Weakness-concerns
• Women are using the platform less. For example 77% men and 23% women –
need to see how to access young women in similar ways
• Sustainability of using the game – may go out of fashion
• Some youth do not have smart phones
• Vulnerable youth asking for help may be an opportunity missed
• Language is mainly in English, may be better in local languages. Some
vulnerable youth may be illiterate
• Cost of internet may be inhibitory
• Parents may dislike the content
Potentials
• Creation of a platform for parents and other groups
• Replicate some content for Radio which is cheaper and accesses those
without smartphones and internet
• Incorporate ways to access further information and expand the subject
areas
