I.
Introduction:
As Saudi women, the Abaya is a part of our culture. It’s a tradition in our Kingdom, that
we all must wear Abayas when we leave the house. The Abaya has evolved over the years; it
became more modern and fashionable. The plain wide cut black Abayas are no longer desirable.
The need and desires of Saudi women have changed. For that we have come up with this idea of
building a website that meets the needs and desires of our Saudi women. They no longer have to
worry about transportation, they no longer have to worry about the consumption of time, and
they no longer have to worry about the crowd.
II.
Business overview:
Our main goal is to deliver the desirable item with the least effort, time consumption and
complication from our customers. Our customers will be able to get what they wanted right from
the comfort of their homes. The customer will have the choice of ordering an existing design or
design a new one. The customer will then specify the Abaya’s material, color, design, size as in
width and length, and then confirms the order. The order will be confirmed by payment. Then
the customer would add her own address to where the order will be delivered. The number of
days the order will take will be provided, as the exchange and refund policy. The website will be
clear and detailed so that our customers feel confident and secure.
III.
Benefits, benefited, and targeted users:
The benefits of having a website for such business are plenty. As Saudi women, or even
any women in the Kingdom, it is not permitted to drive. Some of us need different methods of
transportation in order to get what we want. This increases our expenses as well. The benefits of
such website are that women don’t need to worry about transportation, traffic, expenses, or even
prayer times for that matter. Women can design, tailor, and purchase their own Abayas in a fast
and efficient way. Their desirable Abayas are just few clicks away. For our type of business we
definitely are targeting every woman within the kingdom. We plan on satisfying different tastes

and different classes of the society. Women who live on a budget and women with lavish
lifestyles will find what they’re looking for in out website.
IV.
Contents of the website
The site will contains the pages like (Home, About us, How to order, Contact us, and new
arrivals and offers), It will also contain a matched web design with the logo that will be showed
in the pages. It will contain many pictures with the zoom property like (new arrivals Abaya,
Abaya which are in discount) to make the customer feels the site like a real Abaya store. In
addition, the advertisement window that shows the latest Abaya fashion that will be a guide for
costumers. The site might contain video links to fashion shows by famous Abaya designers to
help customer when choosing the design.

An estimate of number of web pages
We should mention that the number of web pages might be changed during the development
of the website. At first, there will be about 5 pages which they are:

Home page: this page will have an overview introduction for the website; the costumer
here will know that the site will serve Saudi and any other women within the Kingdom in
a professional satisfying way. This page will also link the users to other contents of the
website.

About us page: this page will talk about who we are, the ones who have created the idea
and established the site. Also, the reason behind creating this site, our aims and goals, and
our vision and mission of business.

Contact page: this page will contain an email to have a clear source for those people who
have any inquiries. It also contains a help center guide, and gives the customers the
opportunity to provide feedback on our goods and services.

How to order page: this is to explain to the customer the process of making and placing
an order, the rules and regulations, and the requirements of an order to be complete. It’ll
also show a quick short tutorial of the steps. This part will contain sequence sub-pages to
order:

1- The fabric of the Abaya: it contains many different kinds of fabrics like (Silk, Cotton,
Alfursan, Crepe, Lace, etc...) With clear picture of each fabric type that has the zoom
property. The features of each fabric will also be provided so that the costumer would
know the differences between them.
2- The color of the fabric: only specific colors are used in Abaya like ( dark black , light
black, dark grey, and dark beige)
3- The design of the Abaya: there will be many designs; each one will be shown with a
picture of a model wearing it. If the Abaya contains embroidery design it will
immediately goes to the 4th page. If not, it will go to the 5th.
4- The kind of the embroidery: many designs will be available with colors.
5- The sizes: it will have a list of questions to take the costumer size like the length of
the waist, hands, height, and the width.
6- The last step is to provide information about the costumer and the payment: like the
name of the customer, address, phone number, and credit card number.

New arrivals and offers page: this page is to inform the customers about our new designs,
collections, and new offers. This will attract the customers to visit and monitor the site
regularly.

The function of the business and website
Our website is designed to serve Saudi and other women all over the kingdom, since it
facilitates the process of shopping for Abayas. And this process is done by simple steps starting
from letting them design or choose their own Abayas through our website, fill out the required
information, make the payment, enter their shipping address, and at last receive their Abayas in a
matter of a specified period of time.
VII.
Website forecast
Since the idea of the website is unique in its own, it is indicated that it will impress and
gain people’s satisfaction. For the same reason, in the beginning of the business, we do not
expect to receive many orders as much as the number of people who liked the idea of the
website. Thereafter, our website will enhance its credibility and trustiness once people are
amazed by the service they get and recommend it for others.

VIII. Conclusion
In conclusion, we strongly believe that our website will succeed. Making ease of Abayas
shopping, meeting women demands and having a large number of benefits, assures our belief of
the business. As discussed earlier, the website will contain sections organized in steps which are
the same steps women take when shopping for Abayas in real shops. Mainly, the benefitted out
of this business are the women within the Kingdom, and they are our targeted users as well.
Therefore, we- the website executers- strongly believe that the idea will be highly welcomed by
our women.
