Ms.Ashlee`s Weekly Newsletter

Ms.Ashlee’s Weekly Newsletter____________________________________
We would like to extend a very warm welcome to the newest member of our classroom team Miss Melissa Fleetwood!
Many of our students and parents may know her from her work in Early Experiences 3. We are thrilled to have her join
us and hope you will take the time to introduce yourselves to her. In addition to our newest addition to the classroom
we hope that everyone has been enjoying their time here at school! The students are certainly coming “out of their
shells” and I am so pleased with all of their manners and positive behaviors, WAY TO GO PARENTS! Welcome
September!! The theme for this month is “Body Parts and “The Five Senses”. Throughout this unit we will be learning the
names of different body parts and why it is important to have them as well as learning how our nose, eyes, hands and
mouths all work together to help us understand what is around us in the world. For this weeks academics we will be
completing our color and shape review sheets, learning about our lungs, muscles, and joints to see how it all works. I am
looking for a volunteer to take our classroom laundry this week, we have forgotten about the sign up sheet and are
running low on paint shirts and towels. If you are interested please notify myself, Melissa, or Tina and we’ll get you all
set up! Enjoy the rest of the week!
