National Playoff Participant (1992 & 1995) Keith Lansley: LEAD PITCHING INSTRUCTOR Shenendehowa Coach (2003 – Present) Coach Lansley’s pitching staffs have produced a combined team ERA of 2.02 and a strike out to walk ratio of 8/1in the 7 years he has been the Varsity pitching coach with 111 wins over that time period. Twelve pitchers from Shenendehowa have garnered All – Suburban Council Honors in that time with three of them earning the coveted Suburban Council ‘Pitcher of the Year’ award, one earning All – American Status and Baseball America’s National “Pitcher of the Year Award”. Coach Lansley played collegiately at the College of Saint Rose where he was a 1st Team All-Conference pitcher and the captain of the 2000 Golden Knights team that reached the Division II World Series in Montgomery Alabama. Prior to college coach played at Shenendehowa helping the Plainsmen win the 1994 Section II title by pitching a perfect game in the Sectional Championship on way to an 8-0 record and all-state honors. Stephen Decker: LEAD CATCHING INSTRUCTOR Shenendehowa JV Coach (2008 – Present) Steve Decker started his coaching career with the Shenendehowa baseball program in 2008 as a volunteer assistant with the freshman team working with Coach Lansley. In 2009, Coach Decker was appointed as Head Freshman Baseball Coach, which he held for the 2009 and 2010 seasons. He currently serves as the program’s Junior Varsity head coach and assists with catchers and first basemen in the program. Kevin Drown: Cape Cod Baseball League Orleans Cardinals (Firebirds) - OF (1985) Cape Cod Baseball League - Playoff Participant Shenendehowa Assistant JV Coach (2013 – Present) Coach Drown has been a member of the coaching staff since 2013; he works primarily with the conditioning aspect of the pitching camp and with hitters during the Line Drive Academy. He is well versed in the mechanics of hitting and the GC Sports camps approach at the plate. Intercollegiate Player - Division I University of Delaware—OF/1B (1985 - 1987) East Coast Conf. Regular Season Champs (1985 & 1987) Greg Sulz: Shenendehowa Assistant Freshman Coach (2014 – Present) Greg works with the freshman group during the spring season and has a wealth of baseball knowledge in many areas that the campers will benefit from. Greg currently plays in the Albany Twilight League and coached the Clifton Park 15U team this past summer. Bob Anderson: Schalmont HS Head Baseball Coach (1990 – 2014), Clifton Park Knights (2007 – 2015) A longtime successful Head Coach at Schalmont H.S. who’s team won the State Class ‘B’ Championship in 2014. During his time at Schalmont Coach Anderson won a school record 325 games along with 5 league titles and 3 sectional titles Coach Anderson is well respected throughout the region and state for his experience and baseball knowledge. As a coach with the Clifton Park Knights his teams went to 2 World Series finishing 3rd in both.
