“Pencils tiny, erasers flat, glue empty, folders fat, crayons broken, desk
neat, memories forever, year complete”.
From the Desk of Ms. Cyrenne
Well, we are down to the last month of school. Every year seems to go
by faster than the year before. We have quite a few things happening
in June so you may be getting more reminder emails as the month goes
on.
I would like to take the time to thank everyone for the last six years that I
have been the principal at St. Agnes School. I have thoroughly enjoyed
getting to know our families and I appreciate how well we have all
worked together to make St. Agnes the best place for your children to
learn. I know that the new principal, Mr. Justin Clewis, will continue to
work hard for your children. I wish everyone well and hope to see you
at our year end barbeque to say goodbye. Have a wonderful summer!

Our Grade Eight Farewell will be held on Friday, June 16th. The evening

We would like to welcome our new priests coming to St. Joseph Church in the fall,

St. Agnes Leadership Team (S.A.L.T.)
The SALT Team have put together some fun activities for the month of June:
 June 8 – Hippie Day – dress up as it was in the 1060’s
 June 23 – Formal Day – Dress in your Sunday best!
Holy Trinity Elementary Bands
Congratulations to all band students for a job well done on our annual school tour. The
grade 7 & 8’s worked hard and played very well! The grade 6’s shone as well. Overall it was
a very positive experience. I have heard so many positive comments about the
performances, and I know the grade 5’s are pumped about following in their musical
footsteps.
Our final concert is Sunday, June 4th, 7:00 p.m. at the Mae Wilson Theatre, admission by silver
collection. Please have all band students at the theatre by 6:45 p.m. Thank you to all who
have volunteered! If you are able to volunteer and have not yet indicated it, please send
an email to [email protected].
Grade 5 band registration is happening now! Grade 5 students will be introduced to the
different band instruments the first week of June. I will also be visiting the school to let the
grade 5’s try band instruments. Watch for newsletters being sent home in the near future!
Lastly, a huge thank you to my Holy Trinity band parents for all of your support throughout the
year. Your children have benefitted from all you’ve done to keep them going in music
education. Thank you for letting me work with your awesome kids. Good luck to the
grade 8’s as you move on to high school band and choir! Mr. Jim Mitchell
A Visit to Wonderland
The Kindergarten to Grade Four classes are invited to a Mad Hatter Tea Party on Friday,
June 2 from 1:00 – 2:20 p.m. Don’t be late for a very important date! Students are asked to
bring a tea cup with their name on it by Thursday, June 1st. It is sure to be a curious
afternoon!
Lost & Found
We have accumulated a lot of jackets, hoodies, mitts, etc throughout the year that we
would like to return to you. All items will be displayed in the hallways upstairs until June 9th.
All items not picked up will be donated. Please come and see if anything belongs to you.
Year End Barbeque
We will be having a yearend barbeque to celebrate the year and we will be in our family
groups for the day taking part in fun activities. Families are invited to join us! We will be
sending a note home asking who is able to come for a hamburger. There will be a small
charge. The barbeque will take place on Tuesday, June 27th.
Yearend Mass
Please join us if you are able to celebrate our final liturgy together. It will be held at St.
Joseph’s Church on Thursday, June 29th at 9:30 am.
Microwaves
Beginning Monday, June 5th students will no longer be able to use microwaves at lunch time.
