DESCRIPTION OF THE IMPLEMENTATION OF WP6 TO 9 IN DELIVERABLE D9.1 JORGE JUAN RODRÍGUEZ PEDRO GARIBI DELIVERABLE 9.1 • D9.1: The eVACUATE Integrated System release 1 • Prototype & Demonstrator – not textual • Public • This deliverable describes the initial deployment of eVACUATE integrated system that will be performed in within the frames of Tasks T.9.1 and T.9.2 • Scheduled for month 18 = September 2014 DELIVERABLE 9.1 • What is done: • • • • An implementation of the overall architecture of eVACUATE, integrating the technical WP’s in an example scenario including: • • • • Hardware Local software Cloud-based software Etc. • What is delivered: • Textual explanations – a description of the deployment • Videos, screenshots and multimedia – supporting the description • Requested items THE SCENARIO – DESCRIPTION • INPUT: • Light sensor constantly gives data on light conditions in a room • Unit: Lux • Two buttons represent entrance and exit door • Unit: People in the room • PROCESS: • Data is sent to interoperability framework SOFIA’s cloud-based SIB • Data is stored, processed • also, sent to the COP • CEP (rule engine) processes business rules • IF light < 150 lux & people > 10 • THEN generate event “start evacuation” • (continues in next slide) THE SCENARIO – DESCRIPTION • OUTPUT: • Fan – represents emergency measures (extra air, etc); on or off • Led – represents exit lights; on or off • If event “start evacuation”, both go on • different meaning for each • OTHER: • Output devices do not switch off when conditions return to normal. • because that is not the rule • Output devices can be switched off from SOFIA’s SIB • or from the COP • COP is updated with input from the devices • WP4, WP5 contributions to D9.1 are not covered in this document THE SCENARIO SOFIA INTERFACE FAN OUTPUT DEVICE LED BUTTON -1 PERSON LIGHT SENSOR BUTTON +1 PERSON INPUT DEVICE INPUT DEVICE HARDWARE INPUT DEVICES ARE WP6 IMPLEMENTATION SOFTWARE IN RPi IMPLEMENTS AGENT AS DESIGNED IN WP7 HARDWARE: RASPBERRY PI INTERNET CONNECTIVITY OUTPUT DEVICE WP6 IMPLEMENTED IN HARDWARE OUTPUT DEVICES WP7 AGENT ALSO AS SOFTWARE IN RPi EXTRA BATTERY SIB ENVIRONMENT SOFIA ADMINISTRATOR COP (WP5) CLOUD-BASED SIB SOFIA’S SIB (inc. rule engine) WP5 – VENUE MODELLING WP4 – OPTIMUM ROUTE PREDICT SMART SPACE WP3 - CROWD BEHAVIOR DETECT SCENARIO DEMO – WP6, 7, 8, 9 • STEPS: • • • • • Fan & LED are off 11 people enter the room – click buttons Light goes below 150 – cover sensor Both at once activate the rule Fan & LED automatically switch on • SOFIA-based rule, with agent implementation for device • COP automatically detects rule • COP-based rule • ALSO: • Constant monitoring from SOFIA • Constant monitoring from COP ATTACHED VIDEOS • Videos have been uploaded to the same folder as this file. • Those videos are a recording of the demonstrator • The following slides will describe the videos. ATTACHED VIDEOS - DESCRIPTIONS VIDEO DESCRIPTION mov253: Controlling SOFIA from a smartphone - connection to the SIB as a SOFIA administrator mov254: Light sensor feeds data on lux. Cover sensor and reading is lower (and fan switches on). mov255: Fan and LED are switched on. mov256: Button to add 1 person, button to subtract 1 person, readings reflect it. mov259: A complete demonstration of the described scenario.
