Economic
Association

Dear Economist:
The MIT Press is pleased to announce the launch of the new
Journal of the European Economic Association (JEEA).
As of 2003, JEEA replaces the European Economic Review as
the official journal of the European Economic Association
(EEA).
From the inaugural Vol. 1, Issue 1 in March 2003 and onwards,
the JEEA will publish articles of the highest scientific quality. It will be an outlet for theoretical
and empirical work with global relevance.
Four regular issues will be published annually. In addition, each yearly volume will also include
a double issue with the Proceedings from the previous year’s EEA Congress, beginning with
selected papers from the 2002 Venice Congress in Vol. 1, Issue 2/3.
By letting your library know about this important publication, you can help increase the Journal
of the European Economic Association’s library circulation and make it available to a larger
audience. Just fill out and pass along the attached form to your librarian.
Individual subscriptions to JEEA are included in the price of a membership to the European
Economic Association. For more information, please visit http://www.eeassoc.org.
The EEA invites you to submit your best work for possible publication in JEEA. Submission is
a simple all-electronic procedure. Simply visit http://www.mitpress.mit.edu/jeea and click
“submission.”
Thank you for your consideration of this journal.
Sincerely,
Rebecca McLeod
