Waterfall City, the CBD of Waterfall, is rapidly becoming the main corporate consolidation destination in Gauteng. The development was awarded in a heavily contested tender process, with more than 15 submissions. The almost 43 000m2 new Deloitte building, named River Creek, will be developed in a 50/50 joint venture between Attacq and Atterbury. The new easily accessible and central location of Waterfall City, between Sandton and Pretoria, will provide Deloitte with a number of improved efficiencies and cost savings. It will be located in a prime location, right next to the Allandale interchange just off the N1 highway. Bulk earthworks for the project will start in August 2017, with construction commencing on Deloitte’s new Gauteng office in the final quarter of this year. The development will be complete in the first quarter of 2020. Deloitte will begin operating from its new South African base from April 2020.
