Ft. Lauderdale Coin Club President’s Message
January 2011
Well, another year is here. We had an excellent Banquet. All the feedback I got was
positive. I want to thank all the hard working members who put it all together.
Dues are due. Please pay promptly. I would like to encourage all the members to place
at least one donation lot in the auction, especially if you place several lots in the auction.
The first Board Meeting will be at our first meeting on January 13th. If anyone has
something to bring before the Board, contact me. The board meeting will start at 6: PM

Fort Lauderdale Coin Club presents it’s monthly, Third Sunday Coin & Stamp Show. on the third
Sunday, at Volunteer Park Community Center. 12050 W. Sunrise Blvd. Plantation, FL. Doors will
open at 10am. ‘til 3pm. Free Parking & Great Food! Free admission, children are welcome.
Lunch is available. The Club is a Member of ANA & FUN.
In 1955 a group of active coin collectors and dealers organized the Fort Lauderdale
Coin Club. Incorporated in 1956 as a Non Profit Corporation in the State of Florida.
Today the club is one of the most active coin clubs in South FL , over 250 members.
The Ft. Lauderdale Coin Club, a non-profit org. holds these Coin and Stamp shows the third
Sunday of every month from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Coins & Papermoney, and Gold and Silver
Collections are bought and sold through various member dealers. The public is invited to bring
items and collections to be appraised by over 70 Coin Dealers. U. S., paper, world coins and
other interesting collectibles. A Monthly Gold Coin Raffle is also held. Security by Plantation
Police.
