About the Author
Jeff Gimpel is the founder of GPAMaxx and an attorney. A Phi Beta
Kappa and high honors graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, Jeff
earned his bachelor’s degree in three years.
Although he graduated early, he completed a double major in German
and history as well as the Liberal Arts Honors Program. Jeff also holds a
law degree with honors from the University of Texas School of Law, and a
master’s degree in German law from the Ludwig-Maximilians University in
Munich, Germany, where he studied as a Fulbright Scholar.
Prior to founding GPAMaxx, Jeff practiced corporate law for more than a
decade in New York and Hong Kong with the international law firm
Clifford Chance.
