Hall Upgrade
The project will result in a centre with facilities
for large and small cultural events. The centre
will consist of a large open-air amphitheatre
with an adjacent greenroom, and a multipurpose
250 square metre indoor hall with an adjacent
meeting room, kitchen and toilets.
The project will double the existing floor space
of the Griffith Airport terminal, which will
provide suitable space to cater for projected
passenger numbers for the next 30 years. The
project also includes green initiatives to help
reduce the environmental footprint of the
terminal.
The project will expand the capacity of the
Hunter Valley Research Foundation (HVRF),
enhancing its capacity to meet the emerging
information needs of the Hunter community into
the future. By providing a comprehensive
understanding of regional economic and social
limitations and issues, HVRF helps people to
make better decisions about development and
expansion.
The project will improve access and performance
support facilities at Lismore City Hall, allowing a
broader range of performers to use the venue,
including those with disabilities. The hall
upgrade will also allow different types of
performing arts to come to the region, for
example trapeze acts or flying elements, which
cannot currently be catered for at the venue.
