Short Term Summer Study Abroad to Seoul, Korea

Eligibility
1. Current undergraduate or graduate student enrolled at the George Washington University
2. All applicants should currently or previously have taken at least one Korea related courses at George
Washington University at the time of application.
3. Applicants must submit a one-page essay explaining why they would like to participate in this
program and their long-term interest in Korean studies.
Requirements
Lodging and meal will be provided for the two-week stay in Korea (and possibly partial airfare fee). For
graduate students, airfare will be provided up to two students. Students are responsible for other
additional costs.
All participants are required to give a portfolio presentation and will have the option to submit a research
paper that will give the student a chance to participate in winning the $500 reward for the best paper.
