Create Project - PM
• PLM PMS -> Batch Create Project -> Create
• Project Template:
- OEM: in house, design by Acer.
- Brand New
- New MB: refer project
- New Housing refer project
- Rebranding refer project
- Quick-Win: take & go (few N activities)

BOM Matrix Creation – BM
• Select Project Name -> Download Template -> Fill in BOM Information. Action=
New -> Upload.
• Drop-down list: by DC.
• Since PM will also maintain info., the BOM name here is not final BOM name.

BOM Info. Creation – PM
• Download BOM which is created by BM. Maintain BOM information in yellow .
• Select Project Name. Status= BM Submitted -> Download Template -> Fill in
BOM Information. Action= New -> Upload.
• Drop-down list: by DC.
• If the BOM information is incorrect, please reject it to BM.

Set Constraint / Set Default - PM
• Set Constraint: Select available components of BOM.
• Set Default: Select available OS of BOM. Define default value of components.
• In Portal: User can download and do all BOMs at a time.

• In Agile: BOM -> Action: Set Constraint.
- Submit button enabled when all dropdown lists are in all the below .
- If Category is in red, it won’t show in Create SKU.
> Check EOL Date.
- Fully Bundle categories can only add 1 type.

• In Agile: BOM -> Action: Set Default.
- OS will categorized in order to choose more easily. (Or use Ctrl+F to search)

- Can do Set Default for 1 OS to all BOMs of same Project at a time.

- Set Default will check qty. of BOM limitation.

• Design for creating similar BOM.
• Since it lacks BM’s input, user needs to be aware of BOM Matrix.
• Limited in same Project.
• Need to do Set Constraint/Set Default.

• BOM Set Constraint/Default= Y, then APC can create PN.
• PM: Set Constraint/Default/Sample/Audit
• BM: Maintain Model Short Name, Marketing Desc. Price.

• Can only create RO= WW, SKU Type= ENG/MKT sample in Portal.
• OS in red means no OCK to use. Need to check with Vida Chen or DC.
• Fully Bundle parts are defined in Set Constraint.
• Test: Check if against any smart rules.
