The car was given away by the Texas Lottery and Richard Rawlings, star of DISCOVERY CHANNEL's top-rated show Fast N' Loud and owner of Gas Monkey Garage™. When asked how it feels to win a new car Sugiarto said, “Priceless. I’ve never had a new car in my life. It will help me in so many ways.” “It’s been awesome to be in partnership with the Texas Lottery and I am very happy for Kevin and I hope he enjoys his Hellcat, said Richard Rawlings. The grand prize is valued at $99,999.33 including state sales tax, title and registration fees, and federal withholding tax. The car will be customized Gas Monkey Garage™. Players of the Texas Lottery’s Gas Monkey Garage™ scratch ticket had the opportunity to enter tickets that did not win instant cash prizes into promotional second-chance drawings for a chance to become a finalist to win the grand prize, a 2017 Dodge Challenger SRT® Hellcat. Four finalists were chosen from four separate drawings to participate in today’s event. Each finalist selected a number corresponding to a Gas Monkey Garage™ door and Sugiarto’s door was the only door that opened to reveal the new car. The Gas Monkey Garage™ scratch ticket generated $11.4 million in sales and an estimated $2.6 million in revenue for public education in Texas.
