Mixed Use Mixed Use (1) The Boat, Custom House Square, Belfast Mixed Use The design of mixed use schemes has become an increasingly large component of our commission base over the past number of years. The combination of different building uses in close proximity reflects changing attitudes towards city planning and a new appreciation of urban and environmental issues, while also affording the opportunity to spread commercial risk. We have developed proposals of varying size, which explore differing arrangements of built form and with various combinations of building use. Notable projects include a landmark thirteen storey tower in Belfast, ‘The Boat’, which combines residential, office, retail and restaurant space and Provident Financial’s headquarter offices linked to a Jury’s hotel in Bradford. Other projects in design development include proposals for major brownfield sites in Leeds, Lisburn, Londonderry and most recently in London, where we are working with a Middle Eastern client on a new multi-storey development on the Edgware Road. 1 Mixed Use (1) The Boat, Custom House Square, Belfast, waterfront elevation (2) Laganbank Road Complex, Lisburn (3) The Boat, Custom House Square, Belfast, concept sketch (4) Ireland Brothers Building, Adelaide Street, Belfast (5) (6) (7) (8) Mixed Use Development, Central Park, Leeds Tillie and Henderson, Londonderry, site redevelopment Corporation Square, Belfast Edgware Road, Mixed Use Development 6 5 2 3 1 8 4 7 Contact Offices Belfast 2nd Floor, Titanic House 6 Queens Road, Belfast, BT3 9DT T +44 (0)28 9024 5587 F +44 (0)28 9023 3363 E [email protected] Dublin 11 Pembroke Lane Dublin 2, DO2 CX82 T +353 (0)1 6620 500 F +353 (0)1 6620 501 E [email protected] Directors Paul Crowe BA (Hons) DipArch RIBA MRIAI Peter Moran BSc (Hons) DipArch RIBA Peter Minnis BSc DipArch RIBA Andrew Murray BSc (Arch) BArch RIBA London The Euston Office 40 Melton Street London, NW1 2FD T +44(0)20 3574 4735 E [email protected]
