 You have your practice ACT individual report. How can you interpret the
results?
 Your practice ACT scores are on the left hand side of the report at the top
 Knowledge and skill areas:
English
Math
Reading
Science
Social Studies
TEST SCORE RANGES
Test Score Ranges are between 1-36 for all knowledge areas
Composite scores are the average of the four knowledge areas listed
Rankings to the right indicate where your score stands as compared
to other students taking the test statewide and nationwide
Keep in mind your scores are going to be lower than most students
taking the practice ACT!
PRACTICE ITEM RESPONSES
 The bottom half of the score sheet gives information on how you responded to all
questions.
 Check your answers with test questions in the ACT test book returned to you
today.
 Check the website at www.actstudent.org to see college readiness standards and to
continue to practice ACT questions for future testing.
 Next year you will have the opportunity to take the PSAT which is a practice
SAT test .
