10th July 2012 by Andrew Kennedy-Schultz WEEK 13 (ROUND 18) MORE WASHOUTS Two of the four games were washed out so East Gosford vs Woy Woy, and Southern Ettalong vs Terrigal will be scheduled at a later date. MOUNTAINS MAKE IT SIX Mountains continued their winning streak to six in a row and 5th game of not conceeding a goal with a 3-0 win over Kariong. Let's hope all that ends at Bloodtree next Saturday! A NUMBERS GAME Mick's hat trick may have helped win the game against Umina but his best moment on the field that day were his counting skills. Up 2-1 and struggling, Mick not only realised the team had lost its shape but also ... A PLAYER!! ... when he counted 10 not 11 !! Thankfully this substitution blemish was rectified soon after. The referee a good laugh. STU'S BACK!! Great to see Stu back on the field. Hoping Dean isn't too far away from returning too. ROUND 8 - TERRIGAL vs UMINA Terrigal and Umina played their Rd 8 catch-up game mid-week at Pluim to a 0-0 draw! Cya Saturday for the GAME OF THE SEASON!!
