Judgemeadow 9v9 Boys’ summer league 2013 Affiliated to the Leicestershire & Rutland County FA Dear Secretary / Manager Working with the support of the Leicestershire & Rutland County FA we are hosting 9 v 9 aside summer league for boys teams going from u10’s, here at The Judgemeadow Football Foundation starting on Sunday 5th May 2013 running through until the end of June and would like to invite you to come and bring along your team to take part. The majority of fixtures will be Sunday mornings with the option of Midweek or Saturday fixtures if needed and with the agreement of managers. The idea behind the league is to take away the need for coaches to have to arrange games and pitches during the close season. The aim of the 9 v 9 summer league is to ensure players, managers and coaches have the opportunity to play a number of fixtures in a structured league to help with the transition from Mini-Soccer into the 9 v 9 9-a-side Football . The squads can consist of no more than 15 players The games will be of 25 minutes each way The match fee is £25.00 per team per game A qualified referee will officiate all fixtures The league is open to a maximum of 18 teams and will be played over a 7 week season with all games at Judgemeadows excellent football foundation site. Players must be of the appropriate age group for the 2012-2013 seasons (U10’s). If you find that some of your regular players are not available, guests are allowed but no academy, school of excellence or over age players will be allowed to play. Players can only play for one team during the league.
