WMMIC-Liability Riskmaster Training Guide 2016 The following document will enable the user to add new Liability claims into the WMMIC Riskmaster claims management system. The information and data collected will enable prompt and thorough claims service and make it possible for WMMIC to provide a high-level of customer service to members. In addition, the claims management system allows better monitoring of claims and ensures WMMIC fulfills statutory liability requirements. Furthermore, the collection of accurate data may be used for risk management, underwriting and rating purposes. Setting up a new Liability event in Riskmaster: Go to the following website: https://riskmaster.wmmic.com/RiskmasterUI/UI/Home/Login.aspx The following page will pop up Log in with your user name and password provided by WMMIC personnel up in the right hand corner. The following page will show up Revised 1.13.16 Page | 1 WMMIC-Liability Riskmaster Training Guide 2016 Click on Riskmaster view called Report New Event to WMMIC The following page will pop up Revised 1.13.16 Page | 2 WMMIC-Liability Riskmaster Training Guide 2016 Reported by Tab Click to search for your name (you can hit enter or submit query) When your name is found you can click on system user to fill in the field Date Reported to Member Enter in the date the event was reported to you (Can be claim date or the date you got a phone call. First time you were made aware of the loss) Revised 1.13.16 Page | 3 WMMIC-Liability Riskmaster Training Guide 2016 Any field that is BLACKENED and UNDERLINDED is a required field that must be completed before moving onto the next tab. Tab - Event Info Event Status Click on Choose Close. The event status is always closed Event Type Choose WMMIC Event (at the bottom). Event type will always be WMMIC event Date of Event/Occurrence Enter the date the incident occurred Time of Event Enter the time of the event Cause Code Search for the correct cause of the event Revised 1.13.16 Page | 4 WMMIC-Liability Riskmaster Training Guide 2016 Department Click on the search icon to locate the correct department code Click on the plus sign (+) next to WMMIC. A new drop for WMMIC comes up Click on the next + next to WMMIC. Again a new drop for WMMIC come up Click on the next + next to WMMIC. Click on the + next to your entity Keeping clicking the + until you reach your final department to apply the loss. Click on the department name and it will auto fill the department code. Department Involved-doesn’t need to be completed since you just put it in Original Demand-claim amount if you have it Number of Injures- put in the number of injures if known Number of Fatalities- put in the number of fatalities if known Event Number Don’t need to fill in. Once you hit save it will auto fill number for you Revised 1.13.16 Page | 5 WMMIC-Liability Riskmaster Training Guide 2016 Tab-Location Detail Primary Location Click Search Icon and choose appropriate location Location Type Click Search Icon and choose appropriate location Event on Premise-don’t click as it will mess with your department Location Address- Street number and name if applicable to add of where the loss occurred Location Address 2-suite or apartment number of where the loss occurred City-enter the city where the loss occurred State-enter the state where the loss occurred Zip- enter the zip code of where the loss occurred Location Deception-Click the pencil icon enter the name of building ie courthouse or name of intersection County road A near Fuller Rd. Anything that will help identify where the loss took place Revised 1.13.16 Page | 6 WMMIC-Liability Riskmaster Training Guide 2016 At this juncture you will hit the save icon populate. and an Event Number will Now you will need to enter the Claimant information into the system. Next to the Event number listed you will see a plus (+) sign. You will need to determine is if the Claimant is a new Claimant or an existing Claimant. Click on Add Existing Other Person and the following box will show Revised 1.13.16 Page | 8 WMMIC-Liability Riskmaster Training Guide 2016 Enter a piece of information that help define the claimant you want to search for - in this example the last name weihert has been input Click the Submit query button or enter and the following will result Revised 1.13.16 Page | 9 WMMIC-Liability Riskmaster Training Guide 2016 As the result did not bring anything back close the window out and your Claimant will then need to be entered as a New Other Person The following window will open under new Other Person Type- You can get specific but Other Person is your standby option Last Name- Business Name of Last Name of person involved Revised 1.13.16 Page | 10 WMMIC-Liability Riskmaster Training Guide 2016 Gender-Male, Female and unknown Under each tab here please enter as much information about the claimant as you can as this information is transferred over to the claim. If applicable please try and capture their email address. Upon completion of entering into each tab information about the Claimant click on the Save button again. This time you should see then see the Even number along with the employees name at the top of your screen in the RMX window. The event entry is now complete – forward all necessary correspondence onto your WMMIC adjuster for handling via email. Click on the “paperclip” – to add attachments to the event file. Click on the “pencil & paper” icon – to add text notes to the event file. Blue Disk Icon = SAVE Revised 1.13.16 Click on the “Calendar and red pen” to create a diary on the event file. Select the “Q” for a Quick Summary of the Event. Page | 12 WMMIC-Liability Riskmaster Training Guide 2016 1. To enter notes in to an Event file, select the “pencil & paper” icon: a. Enter the note type (select from list) b. Select “Create Note” c. Proceed to type in your text note d. Select code from “Note Type” drop down e. Click on the blue disk icon to SAVE. 2. To send email from the Event file, select the “envelope” icon on the far right of the Event toolbar. a. Select the “open book” icon to the right of the “To:”, to search for an email recipient, then select the name of the person you wish to email. b. Enter your text note in the box and click “send” 3. To Attach documents to a file, select the paperclip icon a. From the Top first folder click upload Document (piece of paper with up arrow b. Select Doc Type c. Title-describe document being uploaded. To Manage Diaries from inside the event a. Click b. Click on Task Name and new window opens c. From there you can edit, complete or roll your claim dirary 5. To Manage Diaries from Diary List a. Click Diaries from Main header menu and open diary list b. Click on Task Name and new window opens c. From there you can edit, complete or roll your claim dirary 6. To search for a Claim/event a. Make sure you are in Claim and Event Look up powerview b. Click search from the Main header c. Click event or claim d. Type in last name or event number and hit enter e. * is your wild card to seach you can put it before and or after and search criteria data f. Click on the event/claim number that you wish to view 7.
